I’ve enjoyed writing Twitter Hacks for the last year or so. I still very much love following the developments surrounding Twitter and all the cool apps, hacks and other tools that people come up with. But I’m also interested in covering more than just Twitter in the whole micro blogging realm, including talking about phones, wifi, apis, and everything related to cutting the cords and being truly mobile.

With that in mind, I’ve moved all the old Twitter Hacks content to this new site, Mobility Hacks. I’m still working on the design, but for now we can get back to the business of blogging and covering more topics.

Old urls, feed links etc. will all continue to work as they are redirected here, though I encourage you to update your bookmarks and feed subscriptions.

Lists are popular but it seems this week Twitter Lists are all the rage. LifeHack Writes: 5 Ways To Use Twitter For Good, plus one bonus use. This list focuses on the ways twitter connects people.

It’s been that kinda day today.

Update: Thanks to my host who had a recent backup, the theme has mostly been restored. I have to apply some small css tweaks I made, but basically it’s fully functional again! Woot.

You bet! Santa is keeping the “kids” update via Twitter. Pretty funny stuff and a great way to get visitors to his site. Santa’s got mad PR skills!

Just a quick update: I’ve updated the theme here on Twitter Hacks so for those of you who visit the site you might want to refresh. The layout is based on the template I did for my personal blog (Chrispian.com) and will probably need some tweaking here and there.

Here’s another cool twitter-er to follow from the Writer’s Write adn Bloggers Blog folks: Blog Tips. They really know how to work the whole Twitter angle.

TwitterNotes is the perfect mashup for Twitter, if you ask me. For a while now, I’ve had a note scrawled on an index card that says “figure out how to use Twitter as a “notes to self” solution”. While hosted solutions aren’t my favorite, this one is really simple and works pretty well. I will most certainly be using this handy little service.

Biz Stone sent out the latest newsletter from Twitter just a few minutes ago and they’ve added a feature I’ve been looking forward to: People Search. Now you can find out if someone you want to follow is on there or look up friends and collegues. Glad to see this much needed feature to make connecting on the service easier. From Biz:
